Krista obtained her J.D. from Université de Moncton in 2021. Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, Krista is fully bilingual, completed her studies in French, and practices law in both official languages.

While in law school, Krista participated in the Michel Bastarache moot competition focussed on linguistic rights. Krista and her colleague won first place and Krista won the prize for best litigator among the participants.

Passionate about community involvement, Krista is a proud member of Cornerstone Housing for Women’s Young Professional Advisory Board. In law school, Krista volunteered at the New Brunswick Refugee Clinic and at l’Institut international des droits de l’homme et de la paix in Normandy, France.

Krista completed her articles with a bilingual litigation firm in Ottawa in 2021 and joined the firm as an associate until April 2023. She joined Burn Tucker Lachaîne PC in May 2023.

Krista is best known for her research skills and her ability to build a strong rapport with clients as she works with them to move their matter forward through various stages of litigation.

With a particular interest in personal injury, Krista is committed to working with every member of the Burn Tucker Lachaîne team to resolve legal matters.

Outside the office, Krista enjoys painting, playing music, and spending time with friends and family.
