On October 18, 2023, our firm, alongside Modern OT, presented the 16^th Annual Brain Injury Association of the Ottawa-Valley’s Fall Fundraiser.

The Brain Injury Association of the Ottawa-Valley (BIAOV) is a non-for-profit organization that helps survivors of brain injury reconnect with their community. The BIAOV offers education, information, hope and support to the survivors, their family members, friends, caregivers, and professionals.

This year, the Fall Fundraiser was held at the Overflow Brewing Company where supporters of the BIAOV got to network and enjoy great food, live music by the band Big Train Wreck, raffles, and a silent auction. The highlight of this year’s event was a guest speaker who shared her story about life after brain injury. The guest speaker helped raise awareness regarding the reality of living with a brain injury and underlined the remarkable support the BIAOV has to offer, explaining that she would not be where she is today without their programs and support groups.

This year, we raised the amazing amount of $48,672.50 in support of the BIAOV!  This amount will be used to fund services and activities for BIAOV members throughout the year.
